Plastic headbands...

where can I get some? I just bought a beautiful headband from Jess, MsJCreations, and the girls just fight for it! I have decided to try my hand at making some simple woven headbands, but I need to get the plastic headbands first, lol :rolleyes:.
Where do you ladies get the best deals...I don't need a whole bunch just a few to make a handful.

I get mine from Devon on her site. They are 3 a doz plus shipping. Or in a pinch, I go to Walmart and get some covered ones there in the hair supply isle. They are covered with a mesh fabric kind of stuff. I find these similar to the 1/2 ones I use.

I didn't even think to look at Wal-Mart. I did look in their craft aisle, but no luck. I just wanted to practice, maybe I'll look again. Thanks for the suggestion!

Little girls love headbands. My daughter and niece does the same thing, so if I make a headband for one, I have to make the other one one too.

I buy mines from UB whenever any one does a group buy. A dozen is about a $1 and something.

These are made by Goody. I just found some in a box I had to put up in the spare bedroom. Anything crafty, the youngest grand will get into. I think, if I remember right, there is 6 in a pack for 2.97. These are 1/2 in and you can weave over the emsh stuff, or cut one end and pull it off. Just remember there is a yucky glue on the ends. I use nail polish to remove it. Non acetone of course.
