cleaning clips?

So I'm not sure if this is the right place for this... but I was wondering how you all clean your hair clips and bows. My daughter has taken to getting her dinner in her hair these days... so right now I've just been trying to wipe them off with a wet wash cloth. Any good tips for cleaning bows?

I put them in a lingerie bag and wash them in the washer on cold (handwash cycle) with no spin. Take them out and let them air dry.

i use scotch guard on BB's so usually just have to rinse it off.
