this is also a nice idea although i think the ends could be tidied up more. Im sure other people have used it before. It could be used to match outfits and a good way to use up scraps. also check out her idea for a waistband in her tutu. hmmm me thinks trip to thrift store for old $0.99 kids jeans. she also has other neat tutorials in her blog. I love that, I'm gonna attempt this one soon, as I've bought lots of fabric for the raggie bows and have some strips left over.

Man, I've have got to learn to sew:banghead:!!! This looks like a small enough project to start learning with...I might have to go take a look at a "simple" sewing machine.

I bought my simple sewing machine at Walmart for under $60. It's great for now!

I do agree the ends need to be cleaned up a bit. But really really like it!
