this is also a nice idea although i think the ends could be tidied up more. Im sure other people have used it before. It could be used to match outfits and a good way to use up scraps. also check out her idea for a waistband in her tutu. hmmm me thinks trip to thrift store for old $0.99 kids jeans. she also has other neat tutorials in her blog. I bought my simple sewing machine at Walmart for under $60. It's great for now!

I do agree the ends need to be cleaned up a bit. But really really like it!
