I hate Dollar tree, I have never found anything worth. I went in there to check on flowers, all are ugly. Maybe it depends on state?

Not overly fond of Dollar Tree, but will check for craft items next time I am near it. Like someone else said ... maybe it depends on the store itself!

I made sure I went in Dollar Tree today just to look. I didn't really find anything special (still spent $16 though). I did go into Michaels and found a BUNCH of 3/8' grosgrain for $1.00 each. I was so excited!

I found some really nice poinsettias at my Dollar Tree last week. I also found some bitty bags for craft fairs. :)

I buy most of my flowers at the Dollar Tree. They really aren't that bad looking. Especially if you mix them with others.

I bought some pretty poinsettias at one of our local Dollar Trees the other day. There are about 5 of them within 15 minutes drive time from me, and they all have different stock, so it definitely depends on the store.

I love the dollar tree's. Everytime when me and the family go out of town if there is a dollar tree I make my husband stop.

Awesome! I'm going to the US next week, we're going on a trip to FL, so I'll try to stop by while we're across the border!

You can also order online from the dollar tree. If you see something you like in the store and you want more quantities than they have, you can use the upc code & buy direct from them on their website too!

Oh wow, I didn't know that! Thanks :D I'm hoping to get to a lot of craft stores while we're there since I find you have a really good selection for craft stores compared to us...right now I'm going to Michael's, but hoping to get some new ressources on this board IF things turn out to be more than a hobbie :)

I got in on the grossgrain ribbon too.. The satin is nice and great for tutu bows. Local dollar tree buys: new shipment of beautiful flowers (KS), easter hats (adorable and easily adorned), straw easter purses to match the hats. Some Dollartrees got a huge shipment of Hanes and other makers of all sizes and colors of T-shirts. They might have been a second, but I have used alot of them for easter "tie" t-shirts. Adorable. I also use the t-shirt knits for colors on my upcycled t-shirt dresses. Can't go wrong for that price. Better than the new ones at the thrift stores.

I didn't even know they had grossgrain ribbon at DT. I'll have to look more closely next time I'm there.

I wish you would have posted a pic, all the flowers i have seen there look really cheap and not even worth a dollar.

Well, for a dollar, you can't expect super high quality!!! I was there today and got 5/8" grosgrain in turquoise, emerald green and dark purple--they even had a neon yellow-green! Love the dollar store!
