Ridiculously Easy Bow

I don't have a picture - sorry! I will...

Get a 3" crochet headband and wrap a center around the middle. Get another in contrasting color and do the same. Actually dont wrap the first one - just sew around the middle - then layer the second and wrap around the middle with 3/8 or 5/8 - voila a bow!

I have the bow put no darn camera and i am going for a nap coz i is knackered.

Anyhoo here is how it goes.

2 thin headband put them in a cross and sew in the middle and tie around to gather - then stuff with tissue and starch - or not...a crocheted boutique bow...yeah you heard it here first! lol

Thats cute especially if you need a bow in a pinch and you can take it back apart and use it as a headband again.

Molly, from what I am reading, and yes, it is confusing to me as well, is you take a crocheted headband and somehow make a little bow out of it by cutting it half and doing something to it. LOL HTH NOT!!! :lol:

Nooooooo, don't cut the headband. You just lay it flat and then fold/crease it in the middle like you would ribbon. Wrap the center and cover with ribbon and you have a puffy bow.
