So I'm feeling pretty good about my decision to go ahead and invest in grid panels and all the accessories! I spent 7 hours today trying everything out. Here are some pics!

I set it up in the garage, so it's not in the most pretty spot in the house.

Like most shows I have a 10'x10' space, so I chalked off the garage floor so i could arrange things accordingly.
I decided to keep the table to use for the small Christmas tree, the square mini grid panels will be double sided with boutique bows and the turn style has toggle headbands.

Here's a semi - set up grid display. I wanted to see what would fit, what wouldn't, and what else I all had to make.

*Also the Store Supply only has 100 peg hooks on hand when I wanted 250, the other 150 are being shipped in from another one of their warehouses and "should be here by Thursday." I HOPE SO! There are bare spots, yes, but only because I used all 100 pegs I had and just figured up how many more I'll need once my shipment arrives.

This is the front panel - will hold solid color bows

This panel will hold bow holders, and tutus. The mannequin will have on a tutu and wings - or tutu dress (haven't decided yet).

The 3rd panel has applique and ribbon sculpture hair clips - the big empty space will have 15 different kinds of korkers, and the basket will have my "simple clips" aka: ribbon line alligator clips I sell for $1 (buy 5 get 2 free).

This grid is the "baby section." It has pacifier clips, wipe cases, and "bitty bows" on alligator clips.

Hats and headbands are mainly on this grid with some of the small flower clips. I also am awaiting 100 crochet headbands to arrive because right now I'm SUPER low. There will be another row of 4 pegs under what's pictured. The hat displays at the top, I gotta do something about to.

And the flower grid. Two baskets have 2 different types of flowers in them as well. The basket on the floor may move depending on my mood that day - it is the "bargain bin." It has the bows that are kind of older or sad looking. Never know who will want them!

I'm excited about these. I ordered them from VistaPrint - they are "rack cards." I have gotten some customers ordering from my website that are local and always wonder if they were customers from my shows. Now I'll know! I offered a 15% discount on these rack cards to anyone that shops on line.

This is what I'm going to put on the back of my grid panel wall so that people walking from this way or that will see the sign and want to see what's on the other side!

And last, but not least - this is the "check out." We keep moving this area trying to figure out the best place for it. This seemed to work out the best. I also have butterfly wings on the panels behind the register, princess crowns, and on the back I have 2 tutu bow organizers.

Hope that was as exciting for you as it was for me!!! :smilielol5: I am doing a REAL SHOW this weekend so I'll have pictures of a real set up with all the merchandise displayed next week sometime. Lovn' it so far!

Oh... and I love your rack cards. Good idea for determining how many folks from the show shopped/purchased from your store.

Looks great! Wow, you've got a big garage...course if DH didn't have so much junk in ours it would be somewhat better. (Hi, my name is Steve and I'm a hoarder). I'm lucky if I could find a 10" x 10" space in ours! Using the garage sure gives you a better idea of how to set up, doesn't it? You've done a great job....good luck!

That's too funny because my husband's name is Steve as well! LoL! It is nice to have a space to try everything out in. I now know I need to buy 2 more sets of legs to put on that long wall of grids. Worried it might fall over is someone runs into it.

Glad I could "show off!"

Your display will look great. Your all set and ready to go. The rack cards are a good idea. Where did you get the mini grid panels? Good luck with the show!

The mini grid panels are from Target! My favorite place! They were on sale for $14.99 a week or two ago - but still a bargain reg. priced at $16.99. They are in a box and are shown on the front of the box to make cubes - but I wanted the zig zag panels.

Where did you get the tall grids? Seems like the majority of girls get theirs at the Store Supply. I really like your grid stands...most of the ones I've seen are just the grid material themselves, cut perpendicular to the stands. Are yours 2' x 6'? How many do you have? Sorry for all the questions but I really like your setup.

I did actually get my grids from Store Supply. I'm lucky enough to live about 35-45 miles from one so I don't have to pay the crazy shipping prices. I have 6 panels on the big wall side and 2 that will be behind the register - so 8 total. I WISH I could have of gotten 2'x6' panels, but I have a Chevy HHR and I would have had to fold down the front seat the fit the 6' in. The 5' are perfect. I wouldn't mind laying down the front seat, but I can't guarantee we wouldn't have to take my daughter to this and that sitter while having the grid panels in the car and so we need that extra seat just in case we had to put the car seat in the back seat and me in that front seat (hubby is the driver).
