As I've said before, I'm NOT a sewer - BUT the sewing bug has just bit me!! I'm sure it will be short lived.

Here's what I've made
The candy cane shirt I shared before HOWEVER my mom brought home $1 store Christmas socks to make into leg warmers for my daughter, but then I had an idea - make them into sleeves! I had a shirt that had sleeves sewn into them (Carter's) and used that as a guide.
*I may do a tutorial on this, if I think I can explain it well enough for everyone to understand.

The present shirt I did the applique and bow on the front and added cuffs to match the gift. I made the cuffs too long so i folded them up and used the extra sleeve material I had cut off to make room for the cuffs to make the straps. I want to add buttons to the staps on the cuffs, yet another trip to the craft store is planned.

Thanks for looking!

Adorable!! And very creative. I have the machine ... just dont have the sewing bug yet! I used to make doll clothes and smock dresses and that was when I had 3 little ones running around. Of course I didnt work either ...
Nice job!
