I finally finished it! :D lol I used Barbara Jean's instructions. HOW TO Make A Christmas Tree Ribbon SculpturePDF by BowCouture (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=33532083) I highly recommend these instructions. The price is right, and the instructions are very clear. The pictures are very helpful. I'm a visual learner and I was able to follow these instructions with no issues.
Mine isn't quite as purdeeful as hers, but I still think it came out pretty cute :) I know DD is going to love it!

Thank you again everyone :) Brooke wore it to school today and it kept falling out (I usually fully line, and decided to partially line this time) I think I might have to look for some aquarium sealant to make them no-slip. The kindergarten aide forgot to give it back to her before they went home. Hopefully I get the darn thing back!

Try lining them with that rubbery shelf liner. Works great and is very inexpensive. I think I paid .99 for a roll at Walmart, it will last me a lifetime as you only use a little strip. I hot glue it on the underside of the top part of the alligator clip. Hope you get the clip back!

Thanks! I actually do have some of that laying around here somewhere! :)

I'll bet some craft foam would work too. I have Gripzies and looove them. Even with my dd's hair being thick, clips still tend to slip. I don't have that problem with the Gripzies.

I am not sure if I have craft foam. I probably do though because my MIL collects everything under the sun and when she is fed up with it, she gives it to me :D I have seen the Gripzies, but I haven't really needed grips up to this point. I might look into them.
