See I don't even know what "slr" means, lol. I'm very basic in my photography... point and shoot, then hope for the best is my credo. I hope you enjoy your new toy!

i have a point and shoot but its recovery time is a couple seconds till i can shoot the next picture and i always end up missing the good smile pics cause my camera isn't ready so this one i can hold the trigger down and it will shoot continuously. BB is at that awkward age where she gives Who-Like smiles most the time and Good Natural smiles 10% of the time. Ill post some pics later tonight of the two different camras i am sooooo excited. thank god he didnt make me wrap it and put it under the tree i think i would have went insane.:D

First, I love those clippie cases! They would make sure a cute gift for baby showers, birthday's, christmas! Fill them with clippies and people would go crazy for them!

Second, I'm so jealous you are getting and srl camera!!! I have been looking at them lately and none of them are cheap enough for me. I really really want a Nikon D60 - I guess I can always dream, lol! Can't wait to see pics you post with the new camera!

Really cute! I've seen a few of them around on a few boards and forums. I love the fabric you chose. I am on such a fabric kick right now. So many hobbies, so little time!!!!

this camera is only 199.00 and i get top use a 10% off coupon from radio shack on it so i basically dont have to pay taxes on it. its my Christmas present and my b day present. super duper excited.

WOW! That's a great price! I think we paid more then that for our point and shoot. The ones I had been looking at were at least $500 and there is just no way. Unfortunaetly, my birthday has come and gone and me and my husband's Christmas gift to each other was a small trip together we already went on. Bummer!

this is still basically a point and shoot camera. you can 't change the lens on it.
I think you will be better off to find a more smaller point and shoot that has just as many or more options than this.
i say this cause one I had a Panasonic that was along the same lines of this ...
one I out grew it and got bored with it real quick, two it didn't give me the quality of pictures I wanted and three I could stand the fact that i couldn't change the lens.
four i found a smaller digital that i could carry with me all the time that was way better than the panasonic i had.

I love that! We do alot of traveling and this would be a great idea for the suitcase. At Christmas I had them in a Rubbermaid bowl. I think a bigger one would also be great for craft shows. Where did you get the instructions?
