I made this little dress for a customer for her daughter for her 2nd birthday. She wanted an A-line with Hello Kitty on it. This is the first time I've done an applique with an embroidery machine. Fun, fun, fun!

Way to go Barbara!!!!! Mine is giving me so many problems... It's always a different problem on different days. I need to see about oiling it. I even contacted Singer and after over a week they finally got back to me saying it would cost me $149 to update my machine to make it do what I was wanting it to do... great.
Glad you've got yours working to your advantage. I'm too afraid to make anything to resale since mine is so up and down. I have made my daughter a couple of things and a couple of gifts, so it's getting used.

You must be just like the lady that ordered this, she said she wanted polka dots, Hello Kitty, and pink!

Since the dress was easy to make and I had more fabric I figured if I messed up I would have another crack at it. Glad it turned out good, lol. She came to pick it up Tuesday and loved it! I hope your machine stops giving you fits. Just curious, what are you wanting to do with it that will require the update?

I have to get a sewing machine for myself!! I have been dedicated to first mastering bow-making but with 4 kids it would come in really handy.
