its basic seed stitch then three needle bind off...want the pattern I'll happily give..just gotta figure out the needles

Really basic

I think

size 16 circular needles

cast on 24 stictched

knit as follows - k1 p1 ...stick your marker in there..on each knit you knit on eazch purl you purl..5.5inches high..transfer to two double needles then do three needle bind off...

if newbies want step by step i will try to help

pom pom - 2 yarns wrap around object 3" 20 times ..wrap with yarn then cut to look good
