So, my husband travels a lot for work and last week he happened to be home for 3 extra days. I was able to make some bows. It was relaxing to have him watch the kids while I escaped to my "happy place":smilielol5: Please critique my "creations" so that I can improve!.

thank you,

Astrid

I think they look really nice. I love the marabou and the crown center on the pink bow and the rhinestone center in the orange flower. Good work!

Thank you, This is my first one. I tried it a couple of times and ended up liking it although every time I look at it, I see an uneven petal. I did have fun making it and am going to make some more.

Those are all sooo cute. If you don't mind my asking, where did you get your daisy center? I made my first Kanzashi on Friday, but had trouble when I went to tie it - I had used nylon thread and so the knot didn't want to hold. I think I will buy some stronger thread today and retry.

I got the daisies either at Michael's or Hobby Lobby (can't keep track anymore of where I went that day). About the thread, try uphosltery or coat thread. Good luck!

These are all gorgeous. I love the fabric flower. Kanzashi, is it? Absolutely beautiful. I'm also partial to the princess bow. Too cute with that crown center.
