I finally tied my 1st boutique bow the other day and I was hoping that some of you ladies can tell me if I did ok or if I did something wrong. I think it looks pretty good. And please tell me if this is the front. (lol) and not the back of the bow. I have not finished it with a center knot or clip yet. Wanted your opinion first.
Many Thanks

Looks good! You got it right, you do have it facing the right way. Only suggestion is to cut your ribbon going the oposite angle and then that point in the front will go with the loop of the bow instead of jetting out like it is. But great job!

Thank You. I see what you are saying. I will have to try and swing it the other way. I have the V cut, should I do a staright cut or is it ok like that? And one more thing, would you call that a basic boutique or a twisted? I'm not sure what the difference is.

Looks good. That is indeed the correct side. I would just make that wayward tail shorter so that it does not stick out at all. My twisted boutiques don't have long tails but when I do make them a bit longer that one never shows, I leave it short when folding.
