Our church is holding an auction for kids summer camp. We are raising money for all the kids at church to go to camp. I sat down and followed several instructions and made some cute clippies and flowers. I am donating this to our church for the auction.

btw one of you ladies posted your bowquet and gave me this idea. I thought this was a great idea for a donation, birthday gift or a baby shower gift. Thank you to whoever posted their creation.

I really love how you did this "bow"quet! Mixing the silk flowers with the actual clips, it's really nice! I did a couple of these for donations too. You get a lot of bang for your buck, it's unique, and gets people attention.

I made up a little card to go with it calling it my "Bugs and Blooms Bowquet"

Thank you all ladies. I took it to church today and got a lot of great reviews. I'm so excited to see what it will go for at the auction. I hope they get as much or more as I would if I sold it piece by piece.

My bowquet went for $22.50 last night at the auction. Not as much as I would have liked it to go. You just never know. There was a lot of older gentleman there. I needed more grandmas there:girly:. And mom and dads.

Yeah, more Moms and Grandmas and that baby would have fetched a pretty penny! Sorry it didn't go for way more, it is absolutely gorgeous and worth much more.

Wow thanks, that was a big self confidence boost. That my first time ever making those clippies and bowquet. I now have an order for one. Thank you to everyone.
I'm so glad that I have found this forum. It's such an addiction. ;)
