I just made these for a friend, I thought they were adorable, but her little girl kept taking the bows off- they are for a 2 year old, ( I had made them with clips so the bows could be interchangeable with her outfits), so I removed the clips, and sewed them then added some hot glue to add to the security to the bow. How is it best to make these? Are the interchangeable bows ok? or just better for older age group? And will the hot glue hold with the added help of a few stitches through the strap?
New to this and all, any info will be helpfull

I think it may be okay since they were sewn through the strap. I don't know how well the hot glue alone would hold. I use e6000 to secure my bow to the flop. To make mine interchangeable, I mounted them to pinbacks.

Those are cute, I really like the colors.
I haven't made any flip flops yet, I have a couple pair to make for my granddaughter, and I was going to try using E-6000 for the ribbon, rather then hot glue, she has a pair my niece made last year that were hot glued and the ribbon started coming away from the strap and I need to reglue them. I think the interchangable bows would probably be better for older girls, since babies seem to like to pull on the bows.
