I did my first craft show today (that is why I haven't checked in much this week). It is a two day one so I go back tomorrow. (Yay, I'm no longer a craft show virgin :smilielol5:). Here are some photos I took. I am sure my setup will get better when I do more shows. Not bad for my first time though, imo.

Thanks everybody! I just got in (and finished eating my funnel cake I brought home) and I am pooped. Today was lotsssss slower than yesterday and it was HOT... like 92 degrees. Yuck.

Your set up looks great!! Love those flippies! Just out of curiousity, what was your best selling item!?! I know that would be different in different areas!! Good luck today!

Yesterday I sold quite few paci clips, infant beanies, crochet headbands and ribbon sculptures (fish, lollipops... thanks to Vanitha's tute, and butterflies). Everyone loved the kufis and newsboy caps but were afraid it would be too hot for them.
Today I sold mostly wooden bow holders, applique embellished clippies and marabou puffs the most.

Your setup looks great, i hope you did well. Can i ask where you got your tent and how much was it??

I got my tent from Sam's Club (Sam's Club - samsclub.com (http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=376280)). It was $197 but it came with the sidewalls, awning, and a roller bag that makes it super easy to carry.

You can tell your products are all really well made and I bet they could sell themselves without an elaborate display. But your display is great too!! Love the racks you've used. Really orangized, bright, colorful, inviting - just what you want for your booth. Keep it up! Now that you've done a show you know how your stand flows and where you may or may not want to make adjustments. The worse part for me is I am always adding new products and I feel like i'm always changing things to make it all fit. But that's all part of the fun of it too. Really excited for you Barbara!

I got the rack off of ebay in Germany. It was very inexpensive. I got two but have only used the one. I got a spinning peg board from a local boutique that went out of business for $15.
