Does anyone know of a free website, that I could make a site, not to sell, but to be able to show things I've made. I'm thinking of Weebly, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any free sites. I really don't want to spend money on a website, I just want a simple site to show my items and maybe add the site to my cards. Thanks

I have been searching for one of those too. I ended up putting a bunch of stuff in albums on Picasa. Doesnt look super professional but I was able to send the album to people.
I did find this. I have not messed with it yet but it says you can create a personal, group, or small business website.

I have a site through weebly and I love it. If you know a bit about html you can customize it to the colors and patterns you want. I like it because once I do decide to get my own domain, I can still have my hosting through weebly.

A friend of mine uses weebly and I don't think she knows much about HTML. It looks okay, it is free and you can sell stuff on there.
I used to have a free website and then they started lowering the amount of products you could have, until all you could have was 10 before you had to start paying for their services. I use ShoppePro now. It's kind of pricey to me, but I pay yearly so that's probably why I think it's a little expensive ($120). Otherwise it's around $12-$13 a month if you want to pay monthly.

Thanks for the info, I'm not ready to pay for a website quite yet, I just want to be able to have somewhere to show some of my products. I've been asked to make some cheer bows for one team and probably will do their mums too, and I have another cheer director I'm supposed to talk to soon, and I just wanted to eventually have a site they where could see the choices I have. It definitly wouldn't be as nice a site as yours, but hopefully I can get it to look okay.

Well if you just want to show off your products, why not just set up a blog? Blogger: Create your free blog (www.blogspot.com) is what i use and from what I've heard is the easiest too. You can post as many pictures as you want and use the post title as your category and always go back into each post and add more pictures as you go. You can also put the prices with the pictures too. If you are in contact with your customers then you really wouldn't need to have a shopping cart type of website. Just a thought!

I currently have a google site. Its free, and until I know if my business is going places I cant see spening money on a site, I looked into many sites that were free, but I am really computer stupid and google was way easy for me to use.
I too dont sell off my site as most of my work is custom order, but have found that paypal has a widget where you can creat a free pay pal store and link it directly into the page. (you just the norm pay pal selling fee) so when I do have left over inventory I can put it on the site too.
check it out and see if it something you would like
