Eeeeeekk! I'm super excited, but super nervous about this Saturday (may 8)...I'll be having my own booth at our local swap meet! I have to start from scratch to figure outdisplays & stuff. So far, my dad is going to let me use his e-z up tarp/tent thing and tables if I need it. I'm thinking I'll hang pegboards from it & get hooks to put the bows on. I'm taking a couple of pegboards from it & get hooks to put the bows on. I'm taking a couple of wipe cases, headbands, flip flops, & of course the bows. But any tips you ladies have?

I've only done one show in a tent, but the only thing I noticed was people would walk by or stop and look in, but not walk into the tent???? If you can put some of your products outside of the tent people are probably more likely to stop. I guess the people that just walked by and looked didn't want to get "sucked into the tent?" But good luck!!

sorry, i dont have much advice either, but i think the pop up tent might be a little more inviting than an all enclosed tent. Good luck!! cant wait to hear how it goes.

I just did my first one last weekend so I don't have a ton of advice. I would say definitely put something outside of your tent to draw them in. Best of luck to you.

I agree with the others, put some things on the outside or the tent to draw them in. If it were me dropping by ... I would not want to get sucked into the tent....lol

So, I survived. And sad to say, I let myself get a little bummed.my display didn't turn outso hot, and I felt like I didn't have enough inventory (even though I feel like I worked my butt off during the week). I am going back next wknd and only stopped working for tonight because I ran out of glue sticks! Arrggghhhhh..has that ever happened to you?
Anyways, I didn't even take pics last weekend because I felt so bummed. Hoping I can pull it together by this weekend

Think positive... positive vibes. It will go better for you this weekend.
And yes... I have run out of glue sticks at inconvenient times, lol. The worst is me running out of alligator clips before my show a couple of weeks ago. It was a good thing that most of my items requiring them were already made. I was so tired toward the end that I kinda looked at it as a blessing so I wouldn't have to make more stuff!

Dont get bummed. Take it as a learning experience!! Now you will know how much of things you will need and get a better aspect on it all!!! Good luck this weekend!!

It's all practice, so don't let it get you down. If you can find the time to set up your tent & products at home, that's a great way to have an idea of what it will look like beforehand so you can make any changes you want to. I've also found that a lot of the set up I have can be done in advance and then transferred (already ready to be displayed) to wherever the show is. I hope that makes sense. :D
