Yep - I made it through my back to back weekend shows (one a 2 day weekend and the other a 3 day weekend). My stand was looking really sad by the end of the last day. I have soooo much stuff I have to re-stock. WHICH IS A GOOD THING cheerl But man, I'm beat down. This past weekend I did really good! So worth my time both weekend, but I got a whole different crowd of people at this mall. It's weird how you go from one place to the next and see the difference in people.

My best sellers: kufi hats (weird being 80 degrees outside!!!), headbands, applique clippies, and flowers. I sold a lot of things at this mall that didn't seem to sell at the other mall I did, weird! Sold a few newsboys, not many solid bows??, and quite a bit of my baby items (burp cloths, tag blankets...) I took two custom orders, one for a wipe case (lady came back the second day with her COACH diaper bag to match a fabrics and give me her order - she also brought her mom and grandmother with her just to see my stand. The mom laid down $75 herself!!!!!!! CRAZY!). The other custom order was for a tutu, Birthday t-shirt, and matching hairbow set. Pretty neat.

I also got a couple of leads on some up coming shows with different groups that offer shows and met some really great other vendors that were there. Apparently my booth and one other in our location were the only two doing any good. A monograming stand had CUTE stuff and only sold 2 bags the entire 3 day weekend?? The weekend before Mother's Day!?!? How could that be!?!

I have pictures, but my stand is pretty much the same has my last post. Just a different setting. I will post them at some point.

Thanks ladies!! Going to add pics here in a min.

I may do Chesterfield again towards the end of June, but hoping they set up a West County show here inbetween. But I will keep you posted, would really LOVE to meet you!! As far as the boutique bow goes - I bought No Bow Bo Go (NBNG) Templates. They were about $30-$35 but come with an e-book and they have been worth EVERY PENNY! You can go on YouTube and they have a video you can watch on how to use them too. I'd do that before buying just to see if it's something you'd want to invest in.

Pics of my stand
*This mall wouldn't let me use my heart balloons :-(

Forgot to mention too, that a stand next to us said they do this FULL TIME! They sell those popcorn shirts that are the "one size fits all" and these hair clip things for women. They said they go to fairs and do shows that run 10 days in a row! Now that's dedication!

Glad to hear your shows went well! You have to be worn out, take a day to rest, before you get started for your next show.

i cant tell which mall you are in, but i went to fairview the other day and there was a tiny stand outside of finish line for kids. The girl there said they set up just for the weekends right now. All she had was some little boutique bows, headbands, and thats about it. She said she was doing very well just by being there on the weekends.

You can actually go to the mall and set it up with them to be there. I go through a promo guy (it's not a secret, but don't want COMPITITION!). I was at Chesterfield this show. I did Fairview last fall and didn't do very well. I had one of those carts and it didn't hold much, which could be why I didnt sell too much. Still did okay, but probably won't go back to St. Clair Square again.
