car seat cover help

I have bought a pattern for a car seat cover. (the infant kind) I have seen some ppl cover the sun shade part. I am wondering if anyone has any tips or instructions on how this is accomplished. thanks

I'm no help, but those things are so cute! I know they sell for a pretty penny too. Hope you are able to find someone to help with this!

I looked on etsy and found a pattern i thought would help. after paying for it i realize that it will only work if you want to trash the original. I think i am going to try and figure out a way to make a slipcover of some sort to cover it so that it can come off and on. I f i manage to make it i will post a pic and instructions. wish me luck!
