I made a Facebook "LIKE" aka Fanpage and have noticed on another forum people asking for everyone to "like" them. Does the person who has the fanpage get something if they have a bunch of people "like" them? I created mine for my family and friends. I didnt want to put a lot of personal info on it because it seems like anyone can look at it, so thats why I didnt list my number, address or even my last name.
I have 20 people so far who "like" me.. lol... :smilielol5:that sounds so funny when you read that. Anyways, just wondering if something happens when I reach a higher number of fans.

nothing that i know of... I only have 233 fans.... They are not private, and tied into your normal page, which means if you get posts or anything you will not get notification. I had a problem with a girl copying everything I did from my page. SHE has everything personal on there.... even her address!!!! EVERYONE can see it, even if you block them!!!

I noticed that you dont get notified when someone comments. And I do remember you saying that someone was copying you. My page is not that wonderful. I'm not sure what I am doing yet. I cant keep my house in order, I surelt cant get my fanpage in order. lol... My family and friends will understand.

Here is my fanpage if anyone would like to give me pointers on how to make it better. I'm still working on pricing on a lot of my stuff. I have problems with that. I dont want to charge too much. but I dont want to give it away either.

that sounds like me with the pricing. I feel if i want too much they wont want it, and i end up lowering it before i even offer it...lol

oh, your page is good... i just try to post something daily, and maybe a new bow weekly to keep my "fans" remembering me...lol eventually i put something on there they want. Plus, when you get new "fans" they dont automatically see your page, so you need to draw them in, if your going to use it as a "store"

oh... and LOVE the kart covers... i wanted one for my dtr when she was a baby but didnt want to pay what wal mart wanted for a the basic thing they had...

yea I dont post everyday mainly because I dont know what to post. lol... I need to get busy making some new bows. I just got a ton of new ribbon. I was out of town for 4 days and I'm still working on the 30 bows that I need for a kids camp. Then I was just contacted by a lady who I take my used clothes to. She has a consignment shop and wants to buy my bows to put in her shop. I'm excited about that but have to figure out pricing. Do I cut my prices and how much if I do. ugh... I dont like the pricing part.

haha you sound just like me, I am meeting a woman tomorrow about a consignment shop. She said she could either buy my bows outright and resale them, or me put them in there and take a percentage. I chose her buying them so I dont have to keep track of them. I said the same thing to my hubby yesterday about my prices. Since mine are so reasonable, im gonna try to sell them to her at my price and she can resale them for whatever price she wants.

I just figured something out. You have to have 25 fans in order to have a username for your facebook fan page.

Usernames for Facebook Pages communicate this identity and make it easier for people to find and interact with your Page. People can enter the Facebook username as a search term on Facebook or on search engines to locate your Page.
