Here are a few pics of some things I made today. The first two are a lined headband that I made for my dd. I put a loop so she can change out her clippies on it. I must say, I'm ADDICTED to the fabric flowers! I made tons of them tonight. The last one is my dd, Delaney, in one of her 4th of July clippies.

Thanks ya'll. I'm getting addicted to making the flowers, both ribbon and fabric. Delaney loves the headband and being able to switch the clippies on it. The first one is her favorite too.

All of your bows are so cute! I really like the fabric flower! I have been looking for instructions on how to make them. Can you suggest a set of instructions?
Again, they're all beautiful!

First of all, thank you so much for the sweet compliment. I LOVE making the fabric flowers. I can't remember where I first saw the instructions, but here is how I make mine:
I get some fabric that I like. You have to make circles. You can do this with a glass, biscuit cutter, etc. I have a larger roll of 7/8" ribbon that is the perfect circle size for me. Trace the circle on the wrong side of the fabric. I do 6 circles if I'm using different fabric. If I'm using the same fabric, I do 5 sometimes for a different looking flower. Cut out your circles. Fold in half (so right side of fabric is up). Then fold in half again. Will look like a pie wedge. On the round side, make a few loose running stitches. When you get to the end of the fabric, pull thread. Don't cut your thread, just stick needle through the next "pie" piece, stitch, pull. When you've stitched and pulled your last pie piece, you will have to stitch it to the first petal. Tie off thread and voila! I have put numerous things for centers. In the fabric flower above, I used 3 yellow buttons and a small orange shank in the middle. I hope this makes sense. I'm lousy at instructions like this. If I find a link, I'll post.
