My DD's 2nd birthday is on Sunday! She has a lot of girl cousins who will be helping her celebrate! I used Vanitha's tutorial to make lollipop clippies for all of the girls! We are having a Backyardigans themed party, so I used ribbon colored for each of the Backyardigans. I can't wait to see all the girls with their lolli clippies!

I finally made some of these and they are so cute!! I recommend trying them. Specially for a 1st time ribbon sculpture. I am gonna do some different color combos for different holidays. Won't black and orange look so cute for Halloween?

So cute! I have always wanted to make these and still haven't. One question if you don't mind... Is the "stick" just the popsicle stick with a piece of ribbon over top of it? I hadn't seen anyone do that yet.

I made some of these when I first started making bows and they were very easy for a beginner. I liked making them. They also make awesome centers for the stacked bows. My stick was just a piece of 3/8 folded (i think i rolled mine, i cant remember...lol)

I got some very small craft sticks at Michaels.....with a coupon...LOL....they are pointed at one end and perfectly rounded on the other. I just cut off what I need. If I was on my laptop I could post a pix.

Sooo cute!! Just curious...did they use a lot of ribbon or is this something you could also do with scraps?

Those are great! I've been meaning to make these lollipops but never got around to it. This thread inspired me to move my butt ;)
