I've been itching to try bottle caps and decided to come up with my own template and did a quick thingie of images. Could someone who normally does these tell me if they are the right size, please? I printed them out, used my CM 1" circle cutter and they seem ok, but I have no bottle caps here to put them on to "test drive" them.
What do ya'll think? Will they work, or should I change th size. Also, a border? No border?
Thanks in advance for all the help

I've never made the bottle caps, so I'm absolutely no help on the sizing. However, I think your designs are really fun! I can't wait to see how they look on a bow!

Your images are nice!
I've been making key rings out of the bottle caps, more then the ones for the bows, so the caps are flattened, but the ones I make are 1-in diameter. I have a fiskars 1-in punch and the circles come out fine. I had a different punch (can't remember the brand though) and they were too big. I've read that all the 1in punches don't all punch 1in. Once you get some caps just see how it fits.
My son has a rap group, and they've had me make keyrings with their group name and hand them out at shows, as well as to promote their next album, we made over 200 of them the last time, they've gotten great feedback on them. I sell a lot of the keyrings. Here are some I've made for my son, neice and daughter.

Your beautician one is really cute! Sometimes, I wish my beautician was a magician!

Very nice caps! I have the Creative Memories one and it seems to do fine. I LOVE your keyrings! I have been wanting to do one for a for my dh with our kiddos' pics on it. I haven't seen how they look until you posted yours. Now, I am definitely going to.

Thank you, my daughter is a beautician, and she says some people must think she's a magician, instead of a beautician, with their requests!

Thank you, that one is my niece and her fiance, he also has one without the beads, the ones with pictures are my favorites, I've done all my grandkids and some for other people. I'm glad the CM punch works, I had a different one and it came out a bit too big and I'd have to cut the images a bit smaller and they looked bad, it's hard to get a smooth round cut with scissors, so I tried the fiskars and they work great.

The CM punch I have is the 3/4 and 1 inch one. I don't think they even carry that one anymore. I think now theirs is the 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inch. I have the old square one too that will work for the Scrabble tiles (if I ever get around to doing those).
