View Full Version : Attaching bottlecaps to Bows

There are two ways(or more?) to attach bottlecaps to your bows and clippies!
http://poshnpretty.com/tutorials/new1/DSC09275.JPG
The first one is using a 5/8 ribbon, then a felt piece on top. You can apply glue on top of the felt and press it to the bow. You can also substitute with the 3/8 ribbon depending on the size of the bow
The second is super simple as you see. I used E6000 for second one and regular hotglue for first one.
Thanks

Great idea! I've never thought to do that before. It looks much more secure to have the ribbon to wrap around the clip than just the e6000 glueing and wooden disk method that I've tried before.
Thank you! hug

I haven't done a lot of these, but I have also used an old button to fill the gap. Just glue any old button inside the bottlecap and then glue to bow.

This looks a lot nicer than what I have been doing! I was cutting a piece of foam board and gluing it into the cap void and then gluing that together onto the center of my bows!
