I would really like to try to make a tutu with a 6" crochet headband. I don't want to buy a whole bunch of the tutus, just 1 or 2. Would any of you suggest someplace that I could order just a couple, or do any of you have a couple that I could get from you? You can post back here or PM if you know a good place!
Thanks!

That would be great! My neighbors just had a grand-niece born (today!) and they would like a little tutu for her to take pictures in! I'm very excited that they asked me to make one!
You don't happen to have a 1" - 1 1/2" white crochet headband to I could use to make a matching bow do you?
How do you want to take care of this? I did paypal once about 5 years ago, but I could re-do it, just let me know!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! :D

I'll remember that! The white ones might be waiting for me when we get back from vacation! I'm very excited! If it turns out well, I might get some from you! Thanks!

Barbara Jean,
I got back from vacation today and found a little package from you in the mail! My neighbors looked at the crochet headbands and think it will work perfectly, and they're really excited about the matching headband! Their new neice has a whole head of short, black hair already, so it won't be long before she can wear regular alli clips!
Thanks again for helping me with this! I REALLY appreciate it!

Well, first of all, I've not made it yet, nor have I ever! Ha ha! This will totally be a learning experience! However, I've been reading, and looking at pictures (I'm a very visual person). So, I am planning on cutting the tulle as normal (but since it isn't going around a 1" elastic cord, I'm not adding in as much excess tulle), and then tying it around one of the ends. I'm going to try to take pictures of it as I go so that I can add to the tutorials of the group!
When I get it done, I'll take some pictures too!

Yep, just knot the tulle onto the headband's loops/holes just like you would on elastic. I would suggest using the second row of "holes" instead of the first row in order to get a sturdier base.
