These are the 2 inch daisy flowers from Haloheaven. Many do not use the foam felt centers when making hair clippies, so this might be new to you.

Apply elmers glue..See that it covers the the edges too.

Dip it on the glitter. I bought mine from joanns craft essentials glitter, 4 oz.

Let it dry. And do not let your kids touch it!

I had to restart again, you know why(read above)! This time it is red glitter.Let it completely dry, shake off the excess glitter and add the folk art hi gloss to seal it.

Use E6000 and glue everything together!

My pathetic silver glitter!:o

This is just an inspiration. U can also use this as sprinkles for your felt icecream clips and many more projects.

Very cute but does the glitter fall out everywhere? I might try to do one with spray glitter.

No it doesnt fall:). Once it is dry, tap the center to remove the excess glitter, then spray with hi shine gloss(non yellowing). It is like a rock now:girly:

I have not used flowers as of yet, but know they tell you how to take them apart and relayer them. I like the added touch of glitter. It makes it have more pizazz. Thanks for sharing

I love these forums, you can learn so much from so many different people. And if you have half an idea, present it and get others opinions and a whole idea has been formed. :001_huh: LOL Made sense when I was typing, now I am not sure. But you get it, right?

This is such a great idea! I haven't been doing this long, but have done enough flowers that the middles usually are kinda ugly but I am such a CHEAPSKATE lol, that I keep the middles even though I remove them & do something else in the middle ;) I was thinki that there had to be a way to put some on it to fix it to look better :) Thanks for the tip!!!

this may sound stupid but... does the gloss dull the sparkle of the glitter? I have tried sealing glitter before (not with the high gloss you mentioned) and it dulled it.

Very cute idea by the way! :0)

What a great idea, I love the red one. Do you have to hot glue each layer of flower?

Sparkly things are my downfall. You'd think by my age I'd have gotten over it...nope. Still like them bright and full of glitter!
