Hi Everyone!
I really want to try and make some krokers, but I have no clue where to get the wooden dowels, you all talk about from! So where can I get some? How big or small should they be? Just any info really.
Thanks In advance Everyone :girly:hug

You can get some at Walmart. I bought mine from Lowes and had them cut. I'm sure craft stores like Michaels would carry them.

Mine came from Michaels as well... although I don't use them, lol. I hated making korkers (at least the dowel wrapping part).

I got mines from walmart. I'm not sure what size I've gotten because I peeled the tags off, but I got both the thick and skinny ones.

I found mine in the craft departmen about a year agot They were each about a yard long and they were really really cheap. I can't remember exactly how much though. They are most likely going to be near the unfinished wood on the shelves near the floor. I thought Wal-Mart was phasing out their craft departments though, so if that is the case they might be near the painting stuff or outdoor stuff?

Oh, what a cool idea! I'd never though to use the square ones! Yet another project for me to add to my list of things to try!!!

Unfortunatly my Wally world was out of them so I looked at Michaels. I found like a doz in a bag that said that they were 1/4 inch for like $2. I really like how tight the korkers come out with those. HTH.

I got mine from fabric store. They were long, I had my dad to cut them for me. They are like 5/16, they were cheap too. My corkers come out nice.
