I want to try making a covered wipe case and if it goes well I'd also like to add them to my online store. I have directions already, but where is the best place to buy the cases? :confused1:

i have also found them from time to time at the dollar tree and i bought every one that they had. but i have a problem with the trim when i put it on and i go to use the wipes and try to close it, the trim gets caught in the hinges and i end up getting mad at it and not using it. anyone know what i am doing wrong?

Never thought about trying the dollar store, THANKS! I'll be doing my weekly bargain hunting tomorrow, I'll stop by while I'm out.

Another question...
The Huggie's cases have the circle flap that opens on the top for you the get the wipes out, does that make a difference? Or is one brand easier to wrap then the other?

I have seen some people just cover that and use it as a reg one but if you want to get creative like i seen some ladies trim around it.

I just did some searching on etsy and some ADORABLE full size wipe tubs popped up to. Anyone tried those? My dd is finally out of diapers (as of this week, YAYY!). So I'm going to steal her cases to try out first. She has a huggies case, that's why I was asking about the flap on top. I guess I'll see how it goes. I'll post a picture when I can get around to making it. Thanks for all the advice, more is always welcome!

I did it! I posted pics in the "Show Off Your Creations" category if you want to check it out. If you don't have the time... How do you keep from gluing the case shut (like I did, lol)???

I know this is an old post, but just in case someone else looks also... You can make bulk orders at Dollar Tree, Dollar Store... I'll just probably at any type of dollar store. lol. So if you find something you like, ask to make an order with them!

the dollar store wipie cases....how is the quality? i've always purchased huggies from walmart and even at target they are just 30 cents more and i think definitely worth the price difference. i've done some completely covering the top and then some going around to be able to use the dispenser, but i've noticed the market doesn't care either way as long as the fabric looks nice & cute!

I cover my top w/ pad befor I use the material. As far as the cases not closing, you are probably putting the trim too close to the edge. It has to be a little further back. Try trimming it when it is already shut until you get the hang of it.

I get the Huggies ones from WM. THey are like a quarter more than the Dollar Store and worth the extra, imho. I put the fabric over the top of the circular opening. ONe thing I've started doing is putting a sticker with my info on it on the inside of the case (over where it says, "HUGGIES"). Put a really good strip of packing tape over so the writing doesn't run. Everytime they open, they see my contact info. Shameless advertising...maybe, but it's cheap. :D

Great idea! Never thought to do the inside. I do; however, put a custom ribbon tag on the outside of mine though, on the fabric. It has my owl and website. Nothing like being out and about, someone says - HEY! Where'd you get that? - and they have the info right on the case to pass along my site :girly:

Even better idea...and much nicer looking. May have to "borrow" that one...if it's ok.

Of course not! I'm trying to label as much of my stuff as I can. Doesn't hurt to see where you got the products from everytime they are in use
