My 1st Wipe Case

So now that the photos are uploaded, I notice there are some areas I need to touch up. It took me awhile to make this first one, only because I tend to make things harder then they are. I'll for sure be making more of these because they really are adorable little things and the options are endless! But anyway, whatcha think? Any advice for NOT gluing the case shut?!? My DH had to pry it open with a butter knife:rofl:

I just used 3/8" ribbon. I've seen fancier ones, but I wanted to use what I had on hand since it was a trial run. Think I might stick with the ribbon though!

I bought Huggies cases at Wal-Mart for $1.00 each. I have made 4 more since this post and I want to make MORE:001_tt1: I'll post pics of them tomorrow. Gotta sleep sometime right???

The weird thing is I had so many people that loved the wipe cases, but didn't buy them. So now I've paired them with a matching burp cloth and I sell them a lot better that way. Of course I upped the price, but I guess they feel like they get more for their money with a set? And thanks!!

What a great idea to pair them with a burp cloth! When my DD was born, I got a few cutsie little burp cloths, that I didn't want to use because they were SOOOOOO cute! So, I had them sticking out of baskets to decorate them! I love the idea of cute burp cloths though!

Sounds alot like me! I bought a tutorial for the wipe cases and the supplies but have yet to sit down and start making them! :banghead: Hopefully soon I will!

I can't remember how much I was paying for them at Walmart ($1.50 I think - price went up), but I was at dollar general today and they were $1.25. Hey, I save myself a dollar on every 4 I buy, so guess where I'll be going for those now?!
