I made the top from a tutu that was posted on another site. but here is my problem it needs a button and of course i cant find any in the house so i have to buy one, heres the problem i have no idea what kind or style to get. i also want to tie in the shorts (i didnt make them) but i want to applique something on them to make them look like they accually go with the outfit not just picked out ( lol which i did but still ). the bow i made to go with the outfit but the spikes are really floppy can i startch and bake them with the clip on?
ok one more question do u think that it would be appropriate to sell recycled clothing that i have vampped up? i of course will let the customer know that it is recycled and such i already have a name for it. Recycle boutiqued. let me know what you all think.

i value all of your opinions.

Ha, I just finished making one of these a couple of hours ago! I didn't use a button at all I'll show you what I used. Hold on and let me go take a pic of it.

OK, here is mine. I used a flower. I'll bet you have one laying around somewhere. For the shorts I would add light pink bows to the sides of the legs to tie it to the pink top. It wouldn't take more than that to tie them together.
As far as using recycled clothes, people do it all of the time. As long as you are upfront with the customer, I don't see a problem with that.

I put the flower on a pin so that it can be taken off when the dress/shirt is washed. The fabric is Michael Miller. I bought it from Crafter's Vision.
