I'm a beginner so hope I'll be able to do this. I bought an instruction book, but haven't really gotten to try anything yet.

I'm so excited to try this. I've been looking all over for a pattern like this. I may even modify it a little.

quick question - do you ladies find it better to make your own hats and sell them or buy the premade ones ?:confused1: I love making them and feel mine are so much softer but , it is so much easier for me to buy them .

Plus how can I get a notice when there is replys on a link I posted on ?
Sometimes I will post but have to dig around to refind this post . If this makes any sense .

Thanks xoxo

Very cute. Thanks for sharing. I have been thinking about trying to make a crocheted cap for my 3-1/2 month old granddaughter. My daughter found one on-line that she likes with a crocheted flower for $26.00 so I thought I might give it a try as I have a hard time paying $30.00 for something that she will out grow quickly.

So excited, my daughter bought into some instructions for the newboy caps. She whipped one up in a couple of hours. She's very excited about this also. They don't take much yarn and she'll be able to make lots of them at a small cost to her. We'll see what happens and what kind of time she has (she's got 4 kids) .. lol Perhaps we can do a craft fair together next Fall!!! So if you can crochet ... go for it, she said they were easy! And so cute!! Don't ya love the ear ............. lol

Those are so cute!, your daughter did well! My sister-in-law crochets most of the hats my grandkids have, I'm gonna have to give her these to try. I haven't crocheted in years, don't know how it would turn out, probably best to leave to her!

Thanx, I will send the compliments on to her. I used to crochet myself, in fact I taught her. But she has taken it beyond what I can do/want to do. I mostly did lace doilies. She said if I could do doilies, I could do these hats!?!?! Maybe someday I'll give it a try?!?!
