I love the hydrangea clips I've seen and am planning to purchase some flowers to do so. The ones I've seen look as if they have about 3 layers. Here comes the dumb questions: do you purchase different sizes to layer them? :confused1: Can you direct me? Thank you!

some do 2 layers and some do 3 (I did 3). The first 2 layers are the same size (I guess) and I just turn them so that the petals are alternating instead of laying directly on top of each other. The 3rd layer is a smaller petal that is in the stem.

Thank you kindly! That makes sense.

I have layered them with the same size petals & also with different size petals. They both turned out pretty, just be sure to turn them so they lay differently than the layer below.

I've seen these flowers on the FOE and they are so pretty!! Never thought to put them on clips, bet they'd be gorgeous on the skin elastic headbands too... <wheels are turning>

I think she was referring to skinny elastic.

I love these clippies too, thanks for all the great advice! I've made lots of daisy type flowers, but needed some differnt kinds too.

These were the first flowers I attempted when my daughter was born....2 years ago  (where does time go??) They are VERY easy to construct and glue nicely to clips! She just now has enough hair to use them without having to attach the clip to a headband!
