how to you attach it to anything? It seems hot glue would be messy

its a pain in the butt, i end up looking like a multi colored chicken by the time i am done but i glue the ends just to stop it from unraveling and then i sew it to what i am working on. good luck.

I can't do a thing with it! Wish I could!

I love it, but have a hard time. I found this and I'm thinking of trying it. I've read good things about her on another forum.

I haven't tried the Marabou, it looks a little intimidating! :) lol Thanks to the person who posted that link. I just might have to look at that. Brooke tends to have her moments when she's frou frou princessy! :) I bed she'd love a fluffy furry pink bow! lol :)

I cut and glue a piece of marabou and then use it as the middle layer of a stacked bow. Looks great.

I HATE working with the stuff. It would get all messy for me. I found that if you pull the feathers naturally away from the string as much as possible and then add a line of glue, it is a little better. I don't work with it anymore. Like Heather... I end up looking like a chicken.

I bought some marabou puffs from Amy too and I can't recommend them enough! I've never had any luck with marabou until this. Here's some bows I made.

Amy is great! Here's are self-adhesive, but I've found that the tape that she has on the back isn't sticky enough, so I just use a dab of hot glue after I remove the backing of the tape... it sticks like a charm with few casualties :)

PS... her puffs run about .35 each and she charges exact shipping. I'd email your order to her :) HTH

very pretty bows. ive got some that i really like but havent used it yet. i pull it out and its like the maribou and i sit and stare at each other. it wins bc i put it back. do you lay the strip down or do you bunch it up a bit to look fuller?
