and this is what I made.
It is a little sloppy, but I plan on trying again. You are so right about the glue! I had a tough time. My ribbon also over-lapped a bit on the tail loop part. I had to look at the instructions and then try it without the computer b/c my DH wanted to look for work stuff. Not an excuse for sloppy work, but I couldn't wait for him to finish so I just had to try!

My poor DD, she had a bird's nest on the back of her head, lol...I guess we know who didn't brush their DDs hair.

Well, it all thanks to your GREAT instructions Vanitha! Thank you both for your kind words. When I make another, I will post it as well. I made this one pink, buy my other DD LOVES purple.

The butterfly came out really nicely! I think I might have to try it :)

I can't tell you how many times we've gone out on the weekends and forgot to brush Brooke's hair. At least boys hair is pretty low maintenance! lol

i think its excellent for a first time butterfly! i never tried this style of the bf, but would like to try some day. & kudos to you for making it without the computer, i have made alot of bf's and still need to look at the computer :)
