Has anyone taken a pair of Crocs and spiffed them up w/ribbon? I honestly can't stand the shoes, even with all the neat buttons you can buy. But they're so easy for Kylie to slip on and off...

Wondering #1 of it's possible, and #2 if someone may have pictures. (Catching a theme with me? Pictures, Pictures, Pictures! lol.)

I've seen someone use those buttons (but they are blank on top) and attach a big bow to that - I believe it was on HG's Forum. They were really cute. I know anything to spiff them up would be good - but as you say - the ease of use can't be beat!
I also did a google search for croc bows - lots of results.

I'm lovin' those!! I was at Value Village tonight picking up pillowcases to attempt a few dresses and saw croc style shoes for $3. I was REALLY tempted to pick some up, but w/out a paycheck to support our household until May, I knew better. lol. *Praying they're still there next month!*

I've seen quite a few people embellish crocs. The ones in the link you posted are adorable but I am still not a crocs fan, lol.

I have seen those shoes everywhere year round! We don't have a Value Village but all the craft stores have them, Walmart, do you have a Christmas Tree Shop - someone is bound to be having a sale on them in a month!

Yeah, at Walmart they're $6 here. It was really cool to find them brand new for half the price. I picked up a pair for Colt and a pair for Kylie. Colton's are one size too big, but he LOVES them. They're still not my favorite, but at least they both have something they can put on by themselves. (Colton is almost 4, Kylie 2 in July.)

I'm going to have to do some searching for those blank buttons now...

I think I am going to have to learn how to make croc bows. Would be a great addition to my craft festival shows. Thanks for showing that.

Sweet! I'll have to go by and check tonight... I came up with a different idea if I can't find them for a price I'm willing to pay... The holes are close enough to put a ribbon loop through, and just use alligator clips w/bows attached to clip to the shoes instead. (I was playing w/Kylie's shoes and clippies. lol.)

I am not crazy about Crocs either, but I think they could look really cute with an awesome bow in them!

I buy the blanks at Michaels. The I just make whatever kind of bow I want and glue it on. It makes the crocs look so much cuter.

I made some for my daughter a few years ago...I bought these from oriental trading and just attached my bows onto these with e6000.

Not a fan of crocs either. I hear they are comfy but really not safe on kids. They are banned at our school. Not safe on the playground and not safe in the gym. I think they would be better at home ... comfy time/slippers.

i think the shoes are ugly but comfortable and kids seem to like the ease of getting them on and off so i am going to have to decorate a pair.

I had never seen them with bows on them, but I think they are quite cute. I have a couple of pairs of real crocs, they aren't the prettiest shoes but I can testify that they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I love it that I can slip them on & they feel so good on my feet.

I just put bows on my DD's crocs. I hate them they are so ugly but so convient for her to wear on the way to dance classes. Now I can tolerate the ugly things!
