So, I decided to try out an idea that I had been working on for a little boy's tie because I had a ton of people that said they couldn't find cute things for little boys. Most people told me they liked clip-on best, so that's what I went with. Please take a look and let me know what you think :o) I am thinking about making a tutorial for it, but I want to make sure people like it first :girly:.
Here's the link: http://thechunkymunky.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-version-of-little-boys-tie.html (http://thechunkymunky.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-version-of-little-boys-tie.html)
Thanks!!

Thanks! I am trying to decide whether to make a tutorial for it, but I haven't gotten any feedback from anyone yet on that. I will make one and post it on my blog if people think it's something they want to see. :girly:

Looks cute! What are the dimensions? Looks like the top part could overpower a little guy. (Say 1 1/2, 2 ish.) Probably just the picture though? It'd be neat to see a tutorial!
And I could HUG you, btw. You have shirring AND a reversible pinafore tutorial... I brought my sewing machine out for the first time a couple days ago and have been going to town. I was looking for a cute pinafore tute, and I'm in love w/shirring. (Shirring reminds me of the dresses I wore as a kiddo. lol.)

LOL yeah that size probably would overpower a smaller kiddo. That particular one is sized for around a 3 yr old or 3T size. I plan to make a few different sizes when I make the tutorial though :)
And thank you about the blog!:girly::girly: I plan to add tons more over time, and I have a HUGE list of places to find free tutorials that I am trying to get organized to post, but I have been a little busy lately. I'm working on it though! (And shirring reminds me of when I was a kid too :) I LOVE it hehe)

that is really cute! While I wouldn't be seeking out a tutorial because I could make one on my own if I wanted, I'm sure there would be people interested in a tutorial! People go crazy over free tutorials, they would definitely bring traffic to your blog. Your shirring tutorial is great! It's exactly how I do it btw :)
