It'll run Sat and Sun and about 70,000 people, so let's keep our fingers crossed for some $$$$ :) Just wanted to share! Would love to know what you think... any suggestions are appreciated :)
UPDATE: The festival ran 2 days. Saturday was from noon til dark and Sunday was 1pm-6pm. I was amazed at the dynamic difference in customers from Saturday to Sunday. Has anyone else noticed this change? People came to buy on Saturday... Sunday was more of the browsers... I gave out lots of brochures and cards and took some orders. So here's how it went:
In order of most popular:
Kufis & flowers/bows
4 1/2" glue-free, no-slip bows
dressed up pixie wings
woven headbands
tutus
I was disappointed that I didn't sell more ribbon headbands. People just didn't know how to use them even though I explained and even wore one. I was also disappointed that it wasn't obvious that my flower bouquets were all clips and completely functional LOL!
The booth cost was $115 and I made $1100. It was my first show and DH said that it was great. I met my goal which was $1000 so I'm excited to do another couple this year :) All I have to say is that if the days were switched and Sunday happened on Saturday, I probably would've felt like crying. I made about $700 on Saturday and then Sunday, blah! LOL!
Thanks for looking and I hope this helps someone :girly:

It looks great! Your banner and bow cards are very nice. Really like the easel-style display. Did someone make that for you or did you purchase it?
Good luck!

Beautiful! I love your flower clips display, it looks like a lovely bouquet! Your items are very neatly displayed and your booth has an open look to it. Wishing you many, many sales (and as my daughter says, "make many money"!)

Thank you for all of your kind words, Ladies! The skirts are just plastic. I got them at Party City for $5.99. Eventually I'd like polyester-ish skirts, but these are fine for right now.

I was just thinking of using some kind of table clothes like that. Are they reusable?

You definitely can reuse them. They're just plastic. $5.99 at Party City. I'd suggest using a double-sided tape if you reuse them because they sticky is pretty useless after the first use :) HTH

If you have time to order you can try Oriental Trading Co. They might be about the same price. Next time, I'd like to have some polyester clothes... those cost a bit more though.

OMG I love it all! Your set up is fantastic! I'm loving the big banner in the back and how it's above everything instead of attached to a table. Awesome! You did great for your first show :-) You can't complain about that!

If you don't mine me asking, how did you hang your wings. I cannot get mine to look right.

I had hooks on the peg board that I hooked the arm elastics on. The wings fell forward a bit, so I took alligator clips and carefully clipped them back to the board. It was a tedious process so I was sure to sit in front of them and I was the only one that messed with them... I was situated to where they had to ask for whichever one they wanted.
For the next show, each pair of wings has their own hand-crafted beaded hanger and they look so nice dangling freely :)
