Anyone know how to reshape headbands from UB? Some of mine are not fitting my head or my sons. (When you haven't got a little girl, you get desperate!!))

Please help!!

:confused1: Not really sure....I think they would have to be safely heated somehow until pliable. Then reshaped on something about the size of the head you want to fit. Or, you could try purchasing from a different source if those are all misshapen. Sorry..wish I could have been of more help!

here is what I've tried so far. I try to rotate my headbands so the smaller ones are on the outside. Also I've tried, with a bit of success, blowdrying the headband to warm it up and if I'm making it smaller, putting an elastic band around it to squish it and if I want it bigger, I'll put it on a peanut butter jar or something.

If anyone finds an easier method, please let me know!!!! I thought about boiling hot water too for 10 seconds to shrink them. Of course, prewrapping them with some elastic or cooking twine.

I heat up some water in a plastic bowl, then I put a scrunchie around the end to pull them together and then I submerge them in the hot water for about 10 minutes (or until I remember to get them out, lol). I take them out and let them cool with the ends still pulled together. Once they are cool, I take the scrunchie off and they are reshaped.

Great tip, I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever get any that are not quite right.

I also found out they will not break if you bend them yourself. I had good luck reshaping just by bending today.

I always try to stretch them a little bit. I pull the legs just not very hard.
